INTERSWITCH UNVEILS LATEST LOGO




Electronic transaction switching and payment processing company, Interswitch, unveiled a new brand identity recently in Lagos.
The new logo features a simple blue, red and white colour scheme. The Interswitch figure faces forward and upward with two appendages positioned in line with the word ‘Interswitch’.
Explaining the be logo, CEO Interswitch, Mitchell Elegbe said “Our new logo denotes our commitment to moving Africa forward in to the next phase of its growth while maintaining the core African values and identity that ahve made us successful. Our refreshed brand proposition is underpinned by the concept of Intuitive Exchange which is brilliant and simple. Regardless of how complex our business can be, we maintain a clear interchange-transactions at the speed of thought”

“The new Interswitch logo and brand position is a confident statement of our leading position in the market and our vision to continue to push the boundaries of digital payments in Africa. We acknowledge that the penetration of electronic payments in Africa is relatively low. We see this as an opportunity to create platforms that will drive commerce and improve the quality of life on the continent” he said
Since launching in 2002, Interswitch has grown with a current transaction volume of 350 million transactions per month and more than NGN6.4 Trillion a year across its platforms such as a leading payment card brand, ‘Verve’ and Nigeria’s largest online payment portal ‘Quickteller’.
With a revenue growth of 1226% in the last five years, Interswitch is the fastest growing tech company in Africa and the first company in West Africa to attain CMMI level 3 ratings.
Interswitch’s flagship brands; Verve and Quickteller have also unveiled their own simplified identities.
