Cesc Fabregas apologizes on Social Media for snubbing a handshake with David De Gea

Last night, social media erupted when allegedly Cesc Fabregas snubbed a handshake with David De Gea, his International teammate and Manchester United goal keeper. After being substituted on the 67th minute mark, Fabregas greeted all his fellow players except for De Gea.

Despite thinking long and hard and no plausible cause could be understood as why Fabregas would do something like that. Well, I suggest do not stress yourself as the Chelsea superstar came out earlier today and cleared the air with a snapchat message.

It seems as if the social media backlash reached the Spanish national team dressing room and it promoted the duo to come out with this covering message. In the post, Fabregas stood beside De Gea and claimed “all is fine”, take a look:

Did Fabregas really mean to post this or was he forced by the team management? we will never know, however, one thing we can be sure of is that the duo will be closely monitored when the next time Manchester United and Chelsea take on each other in the Premier League.
