FORBES RELEASES 2015 WORLD'S MOST INFLUENTIAL INDIVIDUALS

Russian President Vladimir Putin has become the most influential man of the year for the third time in a row.

The Russian President has topped the Forbe’s “Most Powerful People of 2015″ list, leaving German Chancellor Angela Merkel and US President Barack Obama behind. They took the second and third place respectively.

Then goes Pope Francis who has retained his place this year, ahead of General Secretary, Communist Party of China’s Xi Jinping at number five.


The top ten includes Bill Gates, Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen, U.K. Prime Minister

According to the magazine, the men and women who are featured on Forbes’ annual ranking are the 0.00000001% – the global elite whose actions move the planet. These heads of state, financiers, philanthropists and entrepreneurs truly run the world.


Apparently, the amount of money those people control also matters, as 28 of the 73 most powerful people in the world named by Forbes this year are billionaires.


U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron takes the 8th place in Forbes Most Influential People list
Thirty of the most powerful are from the US, eight are from China, four each from Japan and Russia, France, India and China are represented by three each, and one by the UK.
