Lewandoski secures win for Bayern Munich in a dramatic clash against hoffenheim

A last minute strike from striker Robert Lewandoski saw Bayern Munich’s steal all three points away to Hoffenheim.
The champions were down as early as the first minute when some defensive mix up gifted Kevin Volland a chance that he grateful accepted to put the home team in the lead. His strike equaled the record of the fastest goal ever scored in the Bundesliga.
Bayern were level just before half time and deservedly so too as Thomas Muller netted his third goal in two games for the Bavarians.

Bayern piled on the pressure in the second half and were twice denied as Arturo Vidal and Thomas Muller both stuck the woodwork.
Hoffenheim were gifted the chance to win the game as Jerome Boateng was sent off and a penalty award to the home team.
Eugen Polanski steeped up and from 12 yards out was only able to hit the post.
Lewandoski would punish that miss in the cruelest of manner as he struck in the last minute of regulation time to secure all three points for the champions.
