RONALDO NAMES HIS TOP 5 YOUNGEST BEST PLAYERS

Martin Odegaard and Memphis Depay complete Cristiano Ronaldo's list
Neymar won the treble with Barcelona last season during a stellar term
Paul Pogba and Eden Hazard won league and cup doubles last campaign
Eden Hazard, Neymar and Paul Pogba are among the five young stars that have taken the footballing world by storm, in the eyes of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Real Madrid superstar has highlighted the trio alongside team-mate Martin Odegaard and Manchester United forward Memphis Depay as the rising quintuplet that he rates most highly in football.

All five justified Ronaldo's praise one-way or another last season by excelling for their respective European clubs in trophy-laden campaigns.

Barcelona forward Neymar played an integral part in their treble-winning term, while Pogba and Hazard both won league and cup doubles with their respective Juventus and Chelsea.

Meanwhile Depay's 22 goals saw PSV Eindhoven break Ajax's four-year stranglehold on the Eredivisie title and teenage sensation Odegaard's talents earned him a £2.3million move to Real in January.

And speaking to BT Sport, Ronaldo believes the future looks rosy for all five contemporaries.
