According to the latest transfer news, Chelsea target Antoine Griezmann has agreed that Atletico Madrid increase his release clause up to €60 million. The London outfit are reportedly monitoring the former Real Sociedad player, who has risen rapidly to become of one the La Liga outfit’s integral players despite only joining the club last summer for £24 million.
According to the Express, Atletico have upped the buy-out clause in Griezmann’s contract and Chelsea will have to pay £46m if they are to sign him. The 24-year old now remains under contract at the club until 2020. The France international has enjoyed a wonderful season last term, by scoring 22 goals in 37 appearances for Atletico Madrid.
