Abimbola Phaisal Remi-Lawal is a fast rising rap artiste popularly known by his stage name: YUNG FRODDO. He is a graduate of the department of Geography from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife. He had his secondary school education at Orita-mefa Baptist Model School and Wesley College, Ibadan. He commonly refers to his own genre of music as "FroddoShii". His unique blend of Yoruba, Pidgin and English along with his voice are some of what makes his music outstanding to both the young and old.
After the release of his Jam, Song Idem in which he featured Tha Suspekt of Capital Hills Records, the young rapper has not relented and has been on his way up with lots of amazing and dope music. Some of the popular artistes he has worked with include Jayru (the "familiarity" crooner) , King Gaya, High M, Jaym0ni Swaggz, Sandie..etc. He's also done a couple of cover music including Vector's KingKong, Sarz Iseyen and recently, The King is Here by D'banj which has been trending on several social networking platforms and on the radio.
YungFroddo is an interesting stage performer and has shared the same stage with prominent nigerian acts including Falz Tha Bahd Guy, PatoRanking, Joel, Jayru, Endia, Yung L, Classiq to mention but a few.
He has won the Fresh Beat Artistes of the week on the Beat FM Ibadan four times and also holds2 the record for the highest number of votes ever on the Fresh Beats.
This dude is "charged up" no doubt and he's one to watch out for.
