Poor De Gea |
David De Gea looks set to extend his Manchester United
stay, albeit against his wish after a major goof up in
documents leading the transfer to get called by LFP
headquarters. According to the reports in Spain, the
contracts signed by De Gea and Real Madrid reached
almost 28 minutes after the deadline of Spanish transfer
window had passed.
What caused the delay in De Gea’s move to Real Madrid?
Spanish Football expert Guillem Balague had his doubts
about the lack of time in completing the deal as there was
Keylor Navas , who was involved in the deal as well.
According to Marca and AS¸ Navas had his reservations
about joining Manchester United and in the end that delayed
the paper work for De Gea’s move to Real Madrid.
According to Marca, a €30million deal for De Gea was
agreed with Navas moving in the opposite direction,
however, due to Navas and his last moment demands, Real
Madrid received De Gea’s paperwork only half an hour
before the deadline was about to end.
With that little time in hand, Los Blancos failed to submit the
papers on time to LFP headquarters, subsequently the
transfer was called off and now as it stands, De Gea will
head back to Manchester United and Keylor Navas will
remain as the Real Madrid number one choice goal keeper.
