The 19-year-old French striker has been a revelation since joining the Red Devils on the transfer deadline day.
According to a report in France, Chelsea were willing to trump United’s offer in order to bring the teenage sensation to Stamford Bridge, but Martial wanted to live his dream by joining Manchester United.

A tweet by CanalPlus magazine read: ‘According to our information, Chelsea had proposed more money than Manchester United for Anthony Martial but the player dreamed of the Red Devils.’

The talented youngster didn’t take long to settle at Old Trafford. He instantly became a fan favourite after netting on his debut against none other than their hated rivals – Liverpool. Martial’s transfer fee can even rise up to a whopping £58m, despite the fact that he had only scored 13 competitive goal in his senior career in Ligue 1. So far, the former Monaco striker has netted four goals in seven games for the Premier League giants.

Manchester United face Everton on Saturday at Goodison Park and Martial would be hoping to get back on the score sheet and help the 20-time English champions get back to winning ways.
