The Ladies Wardrobe & Exhibition which is an initiative of Nine Eight Couture and House of TNT is a one day fashion event that aims to drive the Nigerian and ultimately the African Fashion Industry by showcasing designers who create couture and finely tailored garments, the finest in upcoming styling, make-up artists, photographers and striking runway models.
In addition to being a unique opportunity for bringing together Young creative fashion entrepreneurs, buyers and media to network and connect, there would be an exhibition of fashion related items for sale. Beyond the runway/fashion show, the annual event provides a physical platform that’s gradually repositioning fashion as a useful tool for commerce and creativity in Nigeria.
The event which took place 25th October, 2015 at 2pm at one of Lagos finest event place- Westown Hotels, Opebi.
The glamorous and well staged fashion show was well attended by different people in all areas of the entertainments sphere. It was well attended by students, professionals and models, artisans as well as spectators to grace this one time never organized fashion event. The eyebrow of the event was the presence and attendance of Pastor Jimi Tewe, a leading and well respected Pastor in the country . Also in attendance were different brands ranging from Oya Mag, Seal magazine, TNT, TEE-A-TRENDS et al. The event got to its climax when the golden boy of and future headies award winner, Viruz Zamora performed live on stage to dazzle and lighten up the day. Other notable attendees were Ore Ajewole, Sharon Tomsek and other creme De La creme of the society.
