Ogun Assembly Approves 5 Special Advisers For Amosun

Governor Ibikunle Amosun 



The Ogun state House of Assembly yesterday , December 29, approved the request of the state governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, seeking the approval to appoint five additional Special Advisers to the State Executive Council to further strengthen the rebuilding mission of the present administration.

Amosun had written to the House requesting for the approval of the additional aides.

After reading the letter forwarded by the governor, the Majority Leader of the House, Adeyinka Mafe moved the motion and it was seconded by Olayiwola Ojodu.

The speaker also constituted the Tenders’ Board Assembly with the Deputy Speaker of the House, Olakunle Taiwo Oluomo as the Chairman while the Majority Leader, Adeyinka Mafe would serve as the Deputy Chairman.

Other lawmakers in the membership of the board include the Minority Leader, Wale Alausa, Akanbi Bankole, Olayiwola Ojodu and Adebowale Ojuri.

Others are the clerk of the house, Mr Muyiwa Adenopo, deputy clerk, Mr Taiwo, director of finance and accounts, House of Assembly, Mr Adeyanju, while the director, planning research and statistics, Mr Ayodeji will serve as the secretary of the board.

In the same vein, the Ogun state Speaker, Ishola Adekunbi today inaugurated an ad-hoc committee on Inter-Parliamentary Affairs with the Majority Leader, Adeyinka Mafe as the chairman.

Other members of the committee are: Bowale Solaja, Nurudeen Aina-Akinpelu, Rasaq Oduntan and Yetunde Adekanbi Sogbein.
