Good news to Chelsea fans as their midfield Maestro Eden Hazard has finally come out to reveals his relationship with Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho.
Rumours earlier had it that Hazard has fallen out with his boss and that he is considering a switch to Real Madrid in January transfer window.
Speaking to the press after Saturday’s victory over Norwich City, the sensational midfielder claims that his relationship with Mourinho is still intact and that he wishes to remain at Stamford Bridge for the foreseeable future.
“I heard a lot of things about this but no, everything is good with him. Said Hazard.
“I don’t have a problem with him, he is the best manager. He is the best manager for Chelsea and we hope we can win a lot of trophies together.
“Maybe not this season because it will be difficult, but next season and on.”
The Belgian midfielder has struggled to find form this season but with his last two games against Stoke City and weekend victory over premiership newcomer Norwich City, the 24-year old star seems to be regaining his form.
“I didn’t start the season well. He continued
“I tried to find out why, but I don’t know.
“Sometimes you don’t know, you have to keep going. I gave everything in training, and on the pitch when I played.
“I hope I can get a lot of form and try to help the team win games.”
The Belgian seems to be doing better in the number 10 role compare to his traditional left wing position. He claims to have talked to Mourinho for a change in position prior to Capital One tie at Stoke, when he ended up missing the key penalty in a shoot-out loss.
“I said to him: ‘Maybe we have to try to change something. If I can play number 10?’ And we try,” said Hazard.
“I played a very good game in the Cup in Stoke and, (against Norwich), it was the same.
“I just want to be on the pitch and, if I play number 10 or on the flanks, it’s not a problem.”
Chelsea will however play Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Champions’ League group G game tomorrow and we expect the Belgian to help his team secure the maximum three points required.
