Jose Mourinho |
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has debunked the report that Radamel Falcao will be offerd for sale when the transfer window comes alive in January, per report.
Falcao moved from Manaco to Manchester United on a loan-deal in the penultimate summer. United had the option the make the deal permanent but opted to let him off their radar after a horrendous performance.
In a similar long deal, Chelsea signed the player this summer but he has been a failure thus far. The Colombian has scored one in 11 appearances for Chelsea and was reported going to be sold in the winter.
However, Mourinho has revealed his transfer plan for Chelsea in January and he revealed that he wants Falcao to remain at Stamford Bridge despite rumour of a planned overhauling.
“I think so and I hope so. With Falcao or another player, generally I hope everybody stays and nobody comes. I hope we go until the end and in January we will be in a different situation.” , London24.com
Chelsea’s season has been marred by horrendous show offs of almost all the player and Mourinho was reportedly planning a massive ousting of the underperforming players with Falcao at the prime of the list.
However, the Blues bounced back last weekend and are to be gaining more psychological momentum. It is left to be seen how the transfer activities of January pans out.
