According to the reports from The Sun, Chelsea
have finally reached the agreement with Juventus
over the transfer move of Paul Pogba, who has
been the most wanted player of the summer. The
transfer fee is believed to be club’s record €95
million!
The 22-year-old was an instrumental part of
Juve’s double-winning side last season, who also
made the Champions League final. After winning
three consecutive Serie A titles, he could
potentially break not only Chelsea’s club transfer
record but also the British record fee – a feat
currently held by Manchester United, and their – in
hindsight – disastrous deal for Angel Di Maria.
Juventus’ new number 10 has of course played in
England before, for United, where he made just
seven first-team appearances before leaving in
2012. Alongside with Chelsea, other European
giants, including Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSG
were also interested in the services of the
youngster.
